Building Disability Awareness Through Accessible Online Training
Sailing for the Disabled is a Manx charity committed to enabling people with disabilities to experience the freedom, confidence, and enjoyment that sailing can bring. The charity is supported by a diverse mix of experienced volunteers, new recruits, and enabled crew members, all working together within an inclusive and encouraging environment.

To support its volunteers and members, Sailing for the Disabled partnered with Disability Awareness, a specialist training provider, alongside Governance People Limited.
The collaboration brought together:
A bespoke online Disability Awareness Training course was created specifically for Sailing for the Disabled.
The solution comprised:
To support delivery, a brand-new, fully hosted LMS was implemented to make the course easily available to the charity’s volunteers.
